As many of you know we produce 3d printed in resing replacemnt lens for Texas Star Amplifiers. In our manufacturing process we produce some with engraved markings so you can customize the color of your choice, we manufacture some with the markings of the switch as part of the plastic. The original Texas Start switch covers were cast and then pad printed. Pad Printing is if you can imagine a rubber stamp that makes the markings. Pad printing is not effective for small runs, you need to bulid a jig to hold the lens so the print head doesn’t slip and the printing is in the same place. This led us to this modern process.

We realized some people don’t need new lens covers or all new covers. Typically the most used switch covers like power wears off.

The installation process is really simple, peel the label you need from the sheet, stick it on the lens cover and then peel off the top of the lable. Just be careful placing it, one the stick they are stuck.
